Edmonton’s Coronation District Park Development has brought a new integrated community and sports hub to life. The Coronation Park Sports and Recreation Centre opened in early 2026, combining high‑performance training facilities with community spaces — including an indoor cycling velodrome, fitness centre, running track, and access to the Peter Hemingway Aquatic Centre — making it a destination for sport and recreation in central‑north Edmonton.
